Empowered Events
The goal of Pioneering Futures’ Empowered Events is to give disadvantaged children and teenagers an opportunity to build healthy, life-changing skills. Through these events, kids can create and build skill sets that positively impact their immediate and long-term futures. The purpose of these events gives children and teenagers an avenue to connect with their peers, be creative, and grow as individuals.
Empowered events are for ages 4-12 and 13-17. Each event contains an enrichment component to help students build both developmental and life skills. Examples of the developmental and life skills that are represented by Pioneering Futures events include (but are not limited to):
Social-Emotional Learning
STEM Development (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Reading and Literacy
Cognitive Development
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)
Environmental/Nature Preservation
